The regular season in the Liga ARCO Mexicana del Pacífico has officially concluded, and the stage is set for an exciting first round of playoff action. After months of intense winter baseball, eight teams remain in the hunt for the championship, with matchups now locked in and rosters bolstered through the league’s reinforcement draft.
Playoff Matchups: First Round Overview
Finishing atop the overall standings, the Jaguares de Nayarit enter the postseason as the No. 1 seed after a dominant 40–28 campaign. With a +71 run differential and a strong 20–13 record in the second half, Jaguares will face the No. 8 seed Algodoneros de Guasave, who clinched their playoff spot on the penultimate day of the regular season.
The No. 2 seed Yaquis de Obregón are set to meet the Águilas de Mexicali, while the third-seeded Naranjeros de Hermosillo will take on the defending champions, Charros de Jalisco, managed by Benji Gil.
Rounding out the bracket, Lorenzo Bundy’s No. 4 seed Tomateros de Culiacán will face the Cañeros de Los Mochis in what promises to be a tightly contested series.

Reinforcement Draft: Key Additions Before the Playoffs
Following the final regular-season games, six of the eight playoff teams made selections in the reinforcement draft. Both Charros de Jalisco and Tomateros de Culiacán opted not to add any players, standing pat with their current rosters.
- Jaguares de Nayarit selected outfielder River Town from the Tucson Baseball Team. Town was one of the league’s most consistent hitters, batting .324 (fifth-best in the LAMP) with one home run and 15 RBIs.
- Cañeros de Los Mochis added reliever Edwyn Valle, also from Tucson. Valle logged 41 2/3 innings with a 2.38 ERA and 29 strikeouts.
- Yaquis de Obregón reinforced their infield with Ramiro Peña from the Venados de Mazatlán, who hit .273 with four home runs and 23 RBIs.
- Naranjeros de Hermosillo selected right-hander Braulio Torres-Pérez from Mazatlán, who posted a 3.11 ERA over 46 1/3 innings despite control challenges.
- Águilas de Mexicali were the only team to make two selections, adding catcher Alexis Wilson, one of the league’s top defensive backstops, and starter Mark Simon, who recorded a 2.55 ERA over five starts.
- Algodoneros de Guasave chose infielder Samar Leyva from Tucson, strengthening their infield defense after he hit .263 with two home runs and 18 RBIs.
Each team making a selection will complete a corresponding roster move to officially activate their reinforcement additions.
