Caribe Strikes Late to Defeat Navegantes

Caribes de Anzoátegui opened their playoff run with a decisive 8–3 victory over Navegantes del Magallanes, breaking open a scoreless game with a massive late-inning surge.

After six quiet innings, Caribes plated seven runs across the seventh and eighth, highlighted by timely extra-base hits and a home run that tilted the game for good. The offensive outburst turned a tight matchup into a comfortable win and handed Magallanes their second loss of the Round-Robin.
