Curaçao Neptunus One-Hits Draci Brno 10-0 to Reach BCL Europe Final
Curaçao Neptunus beat Draci Brno 10-0 on September 26 as Koen Postelmans allowed one hit, setting up a BCL Europe final against Parma.

Curaçao Neptunus overwhelmed host club Draci Brno 10–0 in seven innings on Saturday, September 26, to reach the inaugural Baseball Champions League Europe final. The Dutch champions scored seven runs in the first two innings, while Koen Postelmans held Brno hitless until the sixth. They will face Italy’s 1949 Parma Baseball Club for the title in Brno on Sunday.
Seven-run start takes the semifinal away from Brno
Neptunus struck for five runs in the first inning at Brno City Baseball Stadium. Junior Martina’s two-run double helped turn the opening frame into a steep climb for the Czech hosts. Christian Diaz added a two-run single in the second, stretching Rotterdam’s advantage to 7–0 and ending Aliangel Lopez’s start after 1⅓ innings.
That early cushion gave Postelmans room to attack. He carried a no-hit bid through five innings before Jakub Hajtmar singled to open the sixth. Postelmans finished six scoreless innings with one hit allowed, three walks and eight strikeouts. Brno managed no further offense as Neptunus completed the shutout.
Dwayne Kemp later drove in two with a double and scored himself. With the margin at ten runs, the game ended after seven innings under the tournament’s run-ahead rule. The hosts’ semifinal ended with a single hit; Neptunus advanced with a decisive performance at both the plate and on the mound.
Parma awaits in Europe’s first BCL final
Parma earned the other place in Sunday’s championship game by beating Tenerife Marlins 5–4 in a much tighter semifinal. Ericson Leonora’s two-run single in the seventh put the Italian club ahead for good. The final is scheduled for 6 p.m. local time on September 27 in Brno.
Neptunus and Parma won their respective opening-round groups in May. Now the reigning Dutch and Italian champions meet with the first BCL Europe title on the line.
