The Mayos de Navojoa will play their October 30–November 1 home series against the Águilas de Mexicali at Estadio Yaquis in Ciudad Obregón, delaying their return to Estadio Manuel “Ciclón” Echeverría. The club and the Liga Mexicana del Pacífico confirmed the three-game relocation on October 27.

The decision comes as renovations continue at the Mayos’ home ballpark in Navojoa. The club said construction has made considerable progress, but the stadium cannot stage official games until the work is inspected and approved by league officials in coordination with Major League Baseball. State and municipal Civil Protection requirements must also be met.

Three-game series moves to Ciudad Obregón

The LMP confirmed that Friday’s opener will begin at 7:30 p.m. Pacific time on October 30. Saturday’s game is scheduled for 5 p.m. on October 31, followed by another 5 p.m. start on Sunday, November 1. All three games will be played at Estadio Yaquis, the home of the Yaquis de Obregón.

The league said ticket-sale details will be announced through the Mayos’ official channels. Neither the league nor the club has provided a confirmed date for the first game back at Estadio Manuel “Ciclón” Echeverría.

Mayos’ homecoming remains on hold

Navojoa’s return to the Mexican Pacific League for the 2026–27 season was announced in April alongside plans to renovate its longtime ballpark. The club had played the previous season away from Navojoa as the Tucson Baseball Team.

Estadio Yaquis has already served as a temporary home for the Mayos this season, including their October 16–18 series against the Naranjeros de Hermosillo. The latest move extends that arrangement while stadium inspections and safety approvals remain outstanding.
