Bonn Capitals

One of Germany's most decorated baseball clubs, the Capitals were born just days before the fall of the Berlin Wall — fittingly in the then-capital city. Founded in November 1989 by a group of players who had learned the game during stays in the United States, they have grown into a club of nearly 400 members. Three national championships (2018, 2022, and 2024) and eleven North Division titles make them perennial contenders. Home games are played at the iconic Rheinaue Stadium, which has hosted the European Baseball Championship twice.
